HOW TO PREPARE TURKISH COFFEE

 

USING YOUR 1583 COFFEE IBRIK 

1. Prepare 18g of finely ground, freshly roasted coffee (must be as fine as flour and preferably of ibrik quality).   

  

2. Pour the coffee into the ibrik, add 40ml of blood orange juice, 3g of cane sugar, and a pinch of nutmeg, and finally add 120ml of water at room temperature.    

  

3. Stir with a wooden spoon and put the ibrik on a stove burner or bury it in hot sand at a temperature of about +300°C. If you are making the coffee on a gas stove, use a medium flame. If using an electric stove, set the temperature to medium.    

  

4. Wait until the foam rises and takes the "first breath." Remove from the heat, pour into a cup, wait for two minutes and enjoy the stunning and refreshing drink.
